SHIRLEY’S CHICKEN CASSEROLE            (Continued)

Boil chicken, remove bones and chop into small pieces. Crush 1 tube
of crackers. Mix chicken, crackers, sour cream, poppy seeds and soup
together. Pour into a well greased 13x9x2-inch dish. Crush other tube
of crackers into crumbs. Sprinkle over casserole. Sprinkle remaining
poppy seeds over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes«s£’ í

2 12oz. cans corned beef
11/2 c. caraway rye bread cr-ambs
1/4 c. creamy Russian dressing
11/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 can drained sauerkraut
1/4 c. pickle relish

Combine bread crumbs, eggs, onions, relish, dressing and seasonings.
Spread half of mixture in 9xl3-inch pan>Then spread sauerkraut and
half of cheese. Spread remaining mixture over top. Top with remaining
cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes. Serves 8.,

1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp, chopped parsley
1 Tbsp, basil
11/2 tsp. salt
1 #303 can tomatoes, 1 3/4 c
2 6oz. can tomato paste
2 c. cottage cheese
, 1/3 c. parmesan cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt.
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 lb. mozzarella cheese
7 lasagne noodles

Brown meat. Drain fat. Add garlic, parsley, basil, 11/2
tomatoes and paste. Simmer over low heat 1/2-1 hour, stir occasionally.
Combine cottage cheese and parmesan cheese. Add eggs and 1 tsp. salt
and pepper. Set aside. Cook noodles. Pour 1/3 sauce into 13x9x2-inch
dish. Cover with 1/2 noodles, then 1/2 cheese mixture, 1/2 mozzarella,
etc.... Top with remaining sauce. Cover with foil. Bake 350 degrees
for 20 minifies. Uncover, bake 20 more minutes. Then remove from
        . set 15 minutes before serving.

4 egg yolks
5 Tbsp, milk
11/2 c. flour
