I finally saw The Social Network tonight and I really enjoyed it.
I do tend to usually dig David Fincher’s work
The Sorkin script has that 1920’s movie, faster-than-people-speak feel about it ala The West Wing.
I certainly do like the patter and have seen every episode of Sorkin’s Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, The West Wing, and Sports Night.
And though he seems to play the same (at least in how he delivers his lines) Jesse Eisenberg does a good job.
It feels like a bit similar to his characters in Zombieland and Adventureland, but I do like him.
Perhaps I wasn’t paying much attention, but I didn’t realize until the end of the movie that the twins were played by the same actor, Armie Hammer
Now I want to read more about the legal wrangling that was the early boom days for Facebook.
NOTE: It also feels really super weird (in that meta way) to be writing about it here on Facebook…
Now I need to listen to the soundtrack that Reznor worked on as I bought it from Amazon ealier this week, but haven’t heard it yet (abstracted from the movie).
